Farm help needed

We need to find someone to help us in our old age and in time become a partner in the farm .

This is a challenge to find someone that wants to continue pressing oils and milling flour as well as growing the various crops on our organic farm. We have well maintained machinery for tractors and horses and can offer accommodation and wages. Having farm experience is necessary and knowing practical skills like plumbing, woodworking, welding, engine mechanics, soil health, with tractor and combine driving. And having worked with horses would help too.

We have newly constructed and approved apartments on the farm. Our organic farm is self sufficient in electricity and food in gardens for humans and field crops such as oats, spelt and rye for animals . Should fossil fuels become in short supply we can farm with horses but also have tractors which run on our own sunflower oil with all the equipment necessary for plowing planting, tine weeding, grain cleaning and combining. There is a good water supply and most of our electricity is available from solar cells or diesels that also run on sunflower oil. Most of our income is from our oil pressing the crops on our farm and from the spelt flour we grow and mill on the farm. We grow spelt, rye ,camelina, and sunflowers.

The farm is equipped with a full machine shop, welding shop and woodworking shop. The farm is clear of any mortgage or debts and has a steady income for the oils and flour production.

We are located about 30 minutes south of tillsonburg.
